Mobile Broadband Roaming Problems: If you are having a problem connecting your 3 Mobile Broadband roaming abroad then go through the following checklist to correct your problems.
1. Did you connect at home ? If no go back home to check. 2. Have you activated international roaming for the mobile broadband SIM card. ? No and your abroad...bad luck you'll have to wait until you have gone back home again to activate it. (or call me for a trick solution.) 3. Make sure there are at least 2 bars lit up on the bar rating connection strength indicated on the 3 Mobile Broadband dashboard. If not the signal is too weak and it will be impossible to connect. Move nearer to a 3 mobile transmitter. 4.Try using your 3 mobile phone to view the strength of any 3G networks. If you have a strong signal on your phone then your dongle should also be able to pick up the signal. If not maybe you have problemswith your dongle. 5. No 3 netwrok visible ? Okay lets try and find it manually. Follow the following screen shot instructions. SCREEN 1 : From the 3 Mobile Broiadband dashboard select "network" and then select "manual select" SCREEN 2: Select manual
SCREEN 3 Click the "Select operator" box
SCREEN 4 : Sit back while all networks are searched
SCREEN 5 : Networks available results returned. Select the 3 sister network. In this case 3 ITA (3G). Try to avoid selecting another network you will incur very high data connection charges. and then click "UPDATE OPERATOR". SCREEN 6 : Make sure on the 3 mobile broadband dashboard that the correct network you selected (hopefully a 3 sister network) is visible and then click connect.
